About
Artist and interior designer — a three-decade career, and a new chapter.
I’ve spent my life making spaces — and the people in them — feel more like themselves.
My formal education began with a B.S. in Interior Design and a minor in Art from Meredith College, followed by a B.A. in Business Management from North Carolina State University.
In 1996 I founded Kimberly Mack Design Studio, and for nearly thirty years offered a full range of custom design services for residential clients across Raleigh and Cary. Great interior design reflects the personality and unique style of the people who live in it — a home should be a sanctuary from the world.
As an artist, I’ve always embraced the creative challenges that come with design: the right color, scale and attitude can transform a room, or a canvas.
Now retired from interior design, I’m returning to where it all started — the art. New original work is on the way.
I’m a wife, a mother and a devoted pet owner who appreciates fabulous, livable design.
